Helping Hands

Jessica, TEENs Rico and LaQuan, and the infamous Bill helped us get the "ground work" done in the kids' garden plot before garden club on April 19. It took everyone a few tries to coax the tiller into full throttle. Once the kids from ACES arrived on scene, Rico and LaQuan helped them plant a new batch of seedlings, including mustard greens and cabbage. Check out the spritely plot underneath the apple tree (look for the purple violas.)
